Apple MacBook Pro 2016 will have OLED Touch Bar and Touch Pad Panel


Apple is expected to have a new MacBook Pro line up this year, and according to rumours the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 series will have a new feature, OLED Touch Bar Panel on top.

From CultOfMac, the images showing the OLED Touch Bar are from one of Apple’s manufacturing partners in China. The 2016 MacBook Pro will also have four USB-C type connectors. The OLED Touchpad panel will be placed just above the keyboard, and will replace the functions keys that we have right now, this will let you customize your own shortcuts or add some shortcuts for specific apps.

MacRumors also reported that Apple was working on a new version of MacBook Pro, a thinner form factor and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, the report came from Apple Analyst KGI Securities Ming-Chi Kuo.

“This is particularly true of the two new MacBook Pro models, to be introduced in 4Q16, as they will have a thinner and lighter form factor, Touch ID, use OLED display touch bar (to replace physical function keys, located above the keyboard) and adopt USB- C / Thunderbolt 3.”

The new MacBook Pro notebooks will also come with butterfly mechnism keyboard, which was introduced in 12 inch MacBook. The new series will come with latest Intel Skylake chipset updated graphics from AMD 400-series Polaris GPU.

Regarding the release dates, Apple will launch the new MacBooks second half of the year 2016 before or on WWDC. We can’t wait for it to see and test about the new features and what items was added on the new Apple MacBook Pro 2016.
