After Oppo release their first device on their F series, the Oppo F1 today was announced about their plan for upgrade F1 Plus version. The said smartphone will arrive in April 2016, and it was mention to have a bigger 5.5 inch display Full HD resolution, a 4GB RAM. This is a huge step up from the previous 5 inch HD and 3GB RAM.
Oppo announce this during the Mumbai launch event for Oppo F1 today, they also provided with a teaser improved selfie for the Plus variant. The F1 is marketed as a selfie expert mobile which packs a 8MP f/2.0 front snapper with 1/4″ sensor, the Plus will probably have an upgraded front shooter with improve software.
The Oppo F1 Plus will probably share the rest of the spec from previous generation, or most from Oppo R7. This includes the Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC, 13MP rear with f/2.2 aperture, LTE connectivity, Dual SIM support. The design will probably somewhat close to R7, just like the F1 is.
The Oppo F1 is on sale around $235 and the F1 Plus will hover around $395, which is quite steep for some folks.
