Starmobile recently released their new flagship smartphone, the Knight Spectra. The Spectra is the first one to have a dual-camera set up like Huawei and Honor 6 Plus.

Today, let’s check out what makes this phone awesome and how much does it really cost?

Knight Spectra Features

The smartphone is wrapped in a metal chassis with rounded edges, there’s a dual Sim tray and you can use the other one as expandable storage. Display is a 5.5 inch Full HD, On-cell AMOLED, which is awesome! This phone also features a Digital TV capability, so you can watch TV program in your smartphone.

I guess the greatest feature of Knight Spectra is the dual-camera setup, these cameras are not the same as a 13 Megapixel rear camera. The sensor’s primary camera is to take phones while the 2 Megapixel reads the depth information and other variables involved. This allows the user to change the focus of each shot taken. They also says that with this kind of set up, the smartphone automatic distortion correction, fast focus time and can create vibrant colors.

Inside, the Knight Spectra uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and a 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. You’ll also have 3500mAh battery to support a longer battery life.

I think the biggest issue here is the price (at least for me), at Php 14,990 it’s one of the most expensive smartphones in the market today. Not to mention that Zenfone 2, ZUK Z1 and other mid-range devices are on this level. Still, you have to check it out to see if the Knight Spectra fills your needs.
